Bottled Up...

Bottled Up
By: Jaye Murray
I just read this book today- in one day. It was that good... It's really the type of book any 8th-12th graders would absoluteley love. And I'm sure anyone else would too. The book is about a 16 yr old, Pip, who spends his time drinking, smoking, and getting into trouble. Not only that, but his dad is an abusive drunk too.
One day, he's sent to the princible's office (for the billionth time) and the princible tells him he's being expelled and is going to call his father. Pip, knowing his father is gonna "kill" him, begs for him not to call. The princible then offers him another choice: he has to go to all his classes AND attend councelling.
Throughout the book, Pip faces many challenges, which he usually copes with drinking and smoking.
Is now one of my favorite books. I can't believe this book ended up being so good... I guess the old saying is right... "You can't judge a book by it's cover..."
BTW, this is a book, even guys would love...

Rules...

Rules

This book was ok. I mean it wasn't bad, but it wasn't one of the best books I've ever read either. The girl in this book, Catherine, is someone who has a brother with autism and tries to teach him how act "normal."
During the book I sort of wished, Catherine would stop acting like her brother is some sort of monster. And I think it really made her look bad, when she hid from one of her friends while she was with Jason, who's in a wheelchair.
Anyway, the book was pretty good, aside from Catherine's embaressment about being with Jason 'cause he's in a wheel chair. If i had to score this book out of a possible 10, I'd give it an 8...

Forsaking All Others...

Forsaking All Others
By: LaVryle Spencer
This is the best love novel I've ever read, aside from the Twilight series. Allison, the main charector, was recently heart-broken, and when she met Rick, she couldn't let herself fall in love again.
Their love makes you wish you were so in love that way (if you aren't already).
If you're a sucker for love novels, much like myself, then you'll greatly appreciate this love novel. :)

Owl in love...

Owl in Love
By: Patrice Kindl
This book was really good! It's about a girl, Owl, who falls in love with her science teacher. You're probably thinking, "what a lame book." But it's really good, and the ending is very unpredictable.
The charector Owl actually IS an owl, which isn't as weird as you may think. The only thing that was weird was her parents aproval of liking her 40 year old teacher. But I guess that's what kind of reaction you'd get from parents who are owls, right??

TTFN...

TTFN
By: Lauren Myracle
This book is the sequel to Lauren Myracle's first book, TTYL.
It was really good!
Maddie wasn't AS irritating in this one, but she was very... wild.
I liked this one alot, even more than the first one. When it was said Angela was moving, I was shocked! After all, Angela, Zoey, and Maddie are BFF's!!
In the end, Angela runs away back to Atlanta! Kind of predictable, but i'm glad she did so!!
Anyway, if you've read TTYL, you need to get your hands on this one, 'cause you won't believe some of things that happen!!
(If you haven't read the first, make sure to read it first, 'cause you'll be lost in this one if you don't...)
Hope my review helped!!! 8)

Perfect...

Perfect
By: Natasha Friend
I liked this book alot! Although, I personally liked Natasha Friend's other book, Lush, better, I still thought this was pretty good book to read. In this book, Isabelle has an eating disorder... bulimia, which was discovered by her little sister, who then tells their mom, and sends Isabelle to councelling. Although, she's being councelled, she continues to make herself throwup.
There's nothing that really was "SHOCKING", but it was good. Makes you wonder how many teens out there are secretly bulimic...

Wow. This book was really good. I started to read this book, and it was a little boring in the beginning, but then things picked up, and got really good!!
It's a book I really recomend.
The girl in the book, Sam, has an alcoholic father, who I didn't think was as bad as she said, until he makes a mistake that'll leave you breathless.
Sam conceals in a friend, which she doesn't even know, with notes, they write back and forth in the library. She knows nothing of the person's identity, which, when you find out who it is, will be a big shock.
Sam, being a 13 year old is faced with many problems, including boys, parties, alcohol (and not just her father is drinking), sex and much more than you can imagine.
Is one of the best books I've ever read!!

TTYL...

I just recently discovered this book, and it was pretty good. I have to admit, the thought of a book in ALL IM's was... not attention grabbing, but it was surprising good. I read the book in about a day. Yeah... it was that good.
But, I can't just write this post, without saying my opinion of the charectors.
I have to admit, Maddie (Mad maddie) really got on my nerves at some parts of the book. In the beginning of the book, she was enemies with Jana, however, eventually became friends with her, which came back to bite her in the butt.
Angela was a good charector. She deffinetley made the book more exciting! But her relationship with Rob was irritating. At times I just wanted to scream: "HELLO!!!! HE'S CHEATING ON YOU!!!!!"
Zoe is my favorite charector. She's actually normal and sane... (jk)
Anyway, I really did love the book, it was really good!!! 8D

Breaking Dawn...

Breaking Dawn
By: Stephanie Meyer
This one was amazing... My favorite of all 4. It's really unbelievable how this book isn't a bestseller. Anyway, without revealing too much, I just think, it was great.
I thought having part of the book being written in Jacob's perspective would be boring and not interesting, but I was wrong. It was still great. I think Stephanie Meyer is an amazing author. She can write anything!
My one dissapointment of this book is the fact that there's most likely not going to be a continueation of the series. :( :( :(
If you haven't read the Twilight books, consider it!!! You won't regret it!!! XD

Eclipse

Eclipse
By: Stephanie Meyer
Stephanie Meyer, once again wrote a great book about the unbelievable love between vampire Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.
The whole saga is great!!!!
Like the rest of the series, this book is a must-read of... the century... no, must-read forever... :)
The ending is so amazing... My reaction to their engagement was, "It's about time!!"
But, i have to say something... Am i the only who finds Jacob sooo annoying already? He's so desperate and bitter. I used to love his charector, untill this book... He's the one charector I find irritating...
As for the rest of the book... it was absolutley, 100% perfect.

New Moon...

New Moon

By: Stephanie Meyer

New Moon is the second novel to the Twilight Saga. Although New Moon is often critized for the leaving of Edward Cullen, I still loved it. Yeah, Edward left (and God knows that stinks), but it was still really good and well written. It was so good, I read it in 2 days. The novel was great, as is the whole series.

Eventhough Edward is gone for most of the book, still read it! If you skip it and continue on to Eclipse (the third book of te series), you won't underdstand Bella and Edward's love as well...

Twilight...

Twilight
By: Stephanie Meyer
Of course, MANY people have read it, and possibly seen the new movie that came out, in November 2008.
I, myself, am a huge Twilight fan. I'd recomend the series to anyone. Even though the book has to do with vampires, there's much more to it. Don't get me wrong, the topic of vampires is in here, but like i said there's much more to it. There's the everlasting love between Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. If you absoluteley hate love novels, this book is not for you. If you're somewhat ok with them, this book will change you're mind to completely love them.
For those who decided to skip this book, because you watched the movie, then you may want to rethink that move, 'cause the book is so different (even better than the movie)
Anyway, hope this review helped, and anyone who hasn't read Twilight, should reconsider. :)
